Actually, sales usually happen when there is an imminent new release. Kinda standard practice. And the addons have value if you or your clients are not upgrading to 2.0 immediately.

I have plently of clients and site sin the pipeline that will stay on 1.76 for the foreseeable. EE2 has to go beyond 2.0 for one of my clients before they will consider an upgrade (though thats unfair on Elis labs). This package is good value.
