European EE Help Chat

There’s been a steady show of interest in having a second EE Help Chat that is at a time more convenient (read: not in the middle of the night) to EE developers living in Europe.

I’m all for this, but I need your help. Rather than schedule a chat at some arbitrary time, I thought I’d poll the community. So, what time (please use GMT) and day would be best for you to participate in a EE Help Chat?

Obviously, I won’t be able to accommodate every schedule out there, but if we can find a time that seems to make sense for the majority, that would be great.

Leave your day and time suggestions in the comments or by emailing me.

21:00 GMT seems about right.

I forgot the day smile - Thursday.

Any day between 19:00 and 23:00 GMT

Around 9pm London Time, Mon, Tue or Wed would be ideal!

21:00 or 22:00 GMT any week night would suit me I reckon. Really pleased to hear that this is a possibility.

Anytime between 7.00pm and 10pm GMT would probably be the best trade off - this way it’s midday/early afternoon in the US so you don’t have to get up too early!

21:00 GMT is fine - that’s 22 CET my time and it’s what most of central europe falls under.

I don’t want to sound pedantic (which means I am about to be) but please note that Currently CET is TWO hours ahead of GMT. The UK is currently on BST (British Summer Time) or WET (Western European time) not GMT - GMT does not change with seasons and is the same (in essence but not technically) as UTC, Coordinated Universal Time.

So a suggested time is:
20:00 UCT/GMT = WET of 21:00 (UK) = CET of 22:00 (Which equals 16:00 EST or 13:00 PST).

Or for those ‘trendsetters’ that bought A Swatch Beat a few years back you can ask for a Swatch Beat time: http://www.swatch.com/zz_en/internettime.html

I’ll get my coat.
