EngineSummit 2 is Coming

Environments for Humans is hosting Engine Summit 2 on October 26, 2010 from 9am to 5pm ET. Engine Summit 1 was back in March and from all accounts was a great success. Engine Summit 2 looks to be an equally great, if not better, experience.

Our very own Ryan Irelan will join Mark Huot, Fred Boyle, Lea Alcantara, Erik Reagan, Chad Crowell, and Leslie Flinger for an all-day extravaganza covering a wide range of topics. Check out the Engine Summit 2 page for details on all of the talks and to register.

Use the discount code EE2RYAN to save 10% on your registration for the online conference.

The prices are really steep for an online day of talks thoguh, aren’t they? That’s a bit of a turnoff for me…

I’m a little biased since I produce Engine Summit, Joel.

But when you factor in the cost of travel to and from a venue as well as the hotel stay, seeing these quality speakers all day, having a chance to interact with them and then having the recordings available afterwards—I think the cost savings and benefits are great.

In case someone stumbles upon this in the future,  just want to add my 2 cents.

The Engine Summit is one of the most cost-effective and value packed resources I’ve ever invested in for EE.

The speakers are top notch,  the topics are current (or often ahead of the curve) and relevant,  and there is plenty of room for open discussion/questions during and after each presenter.

And it’s certainly the gift that keeps on giving.  After the last event,  all of the videos and resources were made available,  and are a great reference to have on hand.

It’s much cheaper than attending a conference in person,  from the ticket costs,  to the travel/lodging/etc.

Terrific event all around.
