I keep asking for this, and I wonder if I’m the only one: Doesn’t it seem time for ExpressionEngine to have a “site packaging” feature that would ZIP up all a site’s database schema, custom fields, and assets (including add-ons) into a portable package which could be easily imported into a fresh EE install—saving the developer the trouble of having to manually recreate so much of the site by hand? I mean, shouldn’t EE have a “theming” capability that could reconstitute complex sites—like the Agile Records example site?
