New Add-on: Devot:ee Monitor
Fresh off their release of Link Vault yesterday, the chaps at Masuga Design unveiled another add-on today: Devot:ee Monitor.

This add-on was a joint effort between Masuga Design/devot:ee, EE Coder, and Antistatic Design. Many thinks to EE Coder’s lead coder Aaron Kuzemchak (@akuzemchak) for the initial development, Shawn Maida (@eecoder) for support and feedback, and Mark Wells of Antistatic Design (@antistaticdsgn) for the design and layout.
The Devot:ee Monitor add-on is free and available from Devot:ee.

Any thoughts on if this is better or worse than NSM Addon Updater?

I think this tool will make a huge difference as developers often struggle to keep afloat of the updates to the various components of their sites, and having this as a funnel to keep track of things will definitely help the work flow.

Sometimes an Expression Engine site has so many add ons that you cannot keep track on which of them needs updating. An outdated add on might even cause loading issues and cause your site to show errors. The Devot-ee monitor will be great to monitor them. Hopefully this add on can be automatically updated.
