EE in the Wild: McCain 2010
Forty, a marketing agency out of Arizona, took on the job of re- designing and developing Senator John McCain’s 2010 senate re-election campaign website. They chose ExpressionEngine as the backend for the site.

In a detailed write-up on their site, they give you a behind-the-scenes look into their process of brainstorming and designing. At the end of the write-up, they drop this little nugget of information:
The entire site was built in HTML 5, the next major revision of HTML, and implemented in the Expression Engine content management system.
Does that make EE Insider happy? You betcha!

Thanks for the post. EE 2.0 + HTML5 = exciting times.

It doesn’t highlight their reasoning for using HTML5 which is a shame.
@Oskar - They used EE 1.6.8 for this project (if that’s what you meant). Otherwise roll on EE 2.1, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery!
