There’s a website with an iPad simulator. You have an iPad within your browser and can even have landscape or portrait mode. I tried the EE 2 panel in it.. just gorgeous. Once I find the url again I will post it here.

I made updates to my site using the iPad last night and was quite pleased with how well the EE control panel looked and worked. Some of the links (clickable areas) to access channels et al were small and by just using touch it was surprisingly easy.
The iPad simulator Carlo mentions works to a degree and not entirely accurate. It still renders Flash (if you have the browser plugin) and I think this is the one he is referring to:

Thanks for sharing the snap. It’s exciting to imagine how a nicely designed interface like the EE2 CP could take advantage of touch with a modified theme or even a custom app.
That would be a wicked fun side project.
Although now I want to redesign/align everything I’ve ever done to be touch optimized, side projects will probably start to pile up…
