Add a CP logo that links back to your CP homepage

Adding a company logo to the Control Panel header, and linking it back to the Control Panel homepage, provides users with the standard “top-left logo as homepage link” feature they will be familiar with from most websites.

1) Install the LG Add Sitename extension:

2) Enable the extension and access the Settings. Under “The XHTML” add a link to “/system” (or /admin.php if your system folder is outside the web root) containing an IMG tag. You can either use your existing site logo or add a new one specifically for the CP logo:

<div id="cp_sitename"><a href="/system"><img src="/images/cp_logo.gif" alt="{site_name}" /></a></div

3) Tweak the “The CSS” settings until you are happy with the logo’s appearance (you may have to adjust the margins and/or padding).
