Learn ExpressionEngine Today

Over a series of 8 videos, watch and learn as Ryan builds an entire ExpressionEngine website from beginning to end. Get started now.

Nordic EE Site

I came across the Nordic ExpressionEngine Users site through their review of my MySQL and ExpressionEngine video. It’s a very specific site for scandinavian EE developers.

We love ExpressionEngine, and were encouraged by many people, to do a site where developers and customers in Scandinavia could find each other.

Very cool.

Thank you very much for the mention Ryan, appreciate it!

I just wanted to clear one thing up: The main section of the site that contains news, reviews and tutorials, is in english and is for everyone - no “specifics” there, I write for everyone and you’re all very, very welcome! smile

My idea with the site is, that EE devs in Scandinavia (or any developer doing work for scandinavian clients), can get their own page for free on the site, where they can present themselves and their work.

That way it’s easy for potential clients in Scandinavia to find a developer, and get in touch with them.

After some small updates on the design, and after adding some more content to the site, I will remove it’s “beta” status, and call out for developers who want to get listed. I’ll do that in the FRUP newsletter and on the forums, to reach as many scandinavian devs as possible.

If it turns out there is not much interest to get listed on the site - if for example there is no scandinavian devs, or devs doing work in scandinavia - it will simply continue as a news, reviews and tutorial site. In english and for everyone, so nothing is lost, we’ll keep on going and supporting the awesome community!

Anyways, thank you for the mention, I hope there are developers who are interested, but if not we can always revisit later and just continue doing content for everyone.

Cheers from cold, cold Denmark smile
